International exposure is essential to implement INA sup's educational policy, which aims to promote creativity and diversity of approaches and professional practices, academic excellence, and student's professional integration.
Since 2014, INA sup has held the Erasmus+ Charter which recognises its international exposure and the quality of its programmes and teaching methods.
The training programmes include meetings and courses given by foreign professionals, participating in international events or seminars, etc. Each year, INA sup welcomes foreign students and supports their international mobility by supporting them financially.
Finally, the school maintains partnerships with foreign higher education institutions in order to enrich its training offers and to develop new ones.
Professional training & instructional design
Based on its training offer catalogue, INA designs and implements training plans adapted to the demands, needs and limitations of its partners. To do this, it analyses the institutional and national needs and contexts in which it carries out its work on training. Furthermore, thanks to INA's links to the professional world, it passes on current technical and management practices, so the skills acquired are in line with the sector's needs of the sector and the employability of the beneficiaries. These courses are given in INA's training centres or alongside foreign partners, in French or English.
INA also offers instructional design services due to its experience as a professional and higher education centre. It supports training centres in designing their syllabus, installing technical infrastructures, training teachers, or guiding companies to define their skills needs and co-construct adapted training plans.
INA is keen to support its partners in their empowerment and sustainability of the knowledge and skills acquired. By passing on its expertise and experience to professionals in the world and allowing them to pass it on in turn, it preserves and continues a transfer of knowledge.
INA's training and guidance offer in instructional design consists of:
- Analysis of training requirements: Skills and related needs; work organisation and human resources; study of the training offer
- Definition and implementation of appropriate training plans: Theoretical and practical training courses, workshops online or face-to-face, etc.; multilingual courses at INA or on site
- Advice on instructional design: Supporting the creation and strengthening of training centres; training of teachers
Residence Culture Programme
The Residence Culture programme of the French Ministry of Culture enables INA to welcome foreign cultural and audiovisual professionals every year. This programme promotes intercultural exchange and sharing.
Since 2010, INA organised the yearly training programme FRAME in partnership with FIAT/IFTA (International Federation of Television Archives) and EBU Academy (European Broadcasting Union). FRAME is a co-funded by the Creative Europe – MEDIA programme of the European Union. In a comprehensive perspective, the FRAME training programme covers each step and aspect of the audiovisual archives management process with several training actions: the FRAME Basics and FRAME Advanced training sessions, FRAME Mentoring, and the FRAME Expert workshop.
